After spending several years as an account executive and copywriter on accounts like Pillsbury, Jeno’s, Blue Cross and Despatch Industries at other agencies, John decided to channel his entrepreneurial instincts into his own firm. While the size and scope of the ad agency he started in 1972 have expanded exponentially over the years, John’s vision for the business has always embraced new technologies, minimal bureaucracy and an integrated approach to solving marketing problems. In addition to establishing the ad agency, John was instrumental in the founding of Stockyard Days, the New London to New Brighton Antique Car Run and the New Brighton Rotary Club. A native of St. Paul, he attended the University of Minnesota.
