Andrea has a knack for telling clients’ stories from a fresh angle and is a devotee of understanding the details from top to bottom. Andrea enjoys getting to know her clients’ industries by diving into reading and research when writing bylines or interviewing customers. She values building partnerships with her clients to help develop strategic solutions and isn’t shy about asking questions to understand business strategies.
Andrea has served clients in higher education, architecture/engineering/construction, manufacturing, technology and agriculture. Prior to joining Risdall McKinney, Andrea served in both public relations and marketing communications capacities at LaBreche, Padilla Speer Beardsley and Neuger Communications Group, and at Environmental Packaging International, a consultancy specializing in compliance with extended-producer-responsibility laws for packaging, batteries and electronics. She is a member of the International Association of Business Communicators.
Andrea graduated magna cum laude from St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minn. with a bachelor’s degree in English and minors in media studies and women’s studies.
